If we learned anything from Taylor Swift’s ‘Bejeweled’ music video, it’s that Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is definitely on its way. (maybe even next?).
There were so many easter eggs pointing us to Speak Now that it had us majorly reminiscing about Taylor‘s incredible third album and we started down memory road.
Although there’s definitely a lot of debate, many Swifties consider Speak Now to be one of Taylor’s best albums. So to say the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is highly anticipated would be an understatement.
The album gave us so many iconic songs — “Mine”, “Sparks Fly”, “Back to December”, “Mean”, and so, so many more.
Taylor’s Speak Now era also gave us a whole new aesthetic. Taylor loosened up her signature curls and traded in (most of) her princess costumes for knee-length halter dresses. While she didn’t completely ditch her country vibes — her fringe sequin mini dress and knee-high black boots still made an appearance! — it’s clear that Taylor’s style was starting to evolve.
